James is a Partner in the Real Estate and Company/Commercial teams.
James was born in Chile and brought up between Chile, Colombia, Spain and the UK. He studied Law at Exeter University and practised as a Solicitor and Partner at 2 top 10 City Firms. He was also the European MD and General Counsel for a UK listed PLC.
As a bi-lingual solicitor, James specialises in commercial real estate, company/commercial, cross border commercial transactions and joint ventures, investment and real estate development work and funding, and was the liaison Partner for his previous Firm’s 50 lawyer plus Spanish and Latin American offices.
Amongst others he has acted on behalf of Oil and Gas exporters, Banks, Property Companies, International PLC’s, Local Education Authorities, Higher Education Institutions, Airport Operators, owners and Developers, Public Transport Companies and High Net Worth individuals.
