Art is primarily to be enjoyed, while also an investment. The intrinsic value of art may lie in the joy it brings to its owner. However, the actual value may depend on issues such as provenance, title, lending and security. Disputes arise regarding these issues that are made more complex when art crosses international borders. The digitalisation of art by the creation of NFTs and tokenised artworks has widened the way art is appreciated, although it has broadened the scope for disputes. The panel of international experts will explore these legal issues and how these disputes can be resolved.
